Explorers, please read attached letter received today:

Good Afternoon,
 
I hope everyone is doing well in this trying time.  We unfortunately have made the decision to cancel our State Conference in June.  We will still be giving out scholarships. Any seniors or Explorers already in college that are looking to put in for a scholarship, need to send the application and a good contact phone number to the Scholarship Committee chair, D/S Lee Sutterfield at sutterfieldL@pbso.org If you do not receive a confirmation that it was received please let her or I know so we can make sure we have all scholarships in.  The committee will be contacting the explorers that put in for the scholarships.  Also, state board nominations will remain open until September delegates and the speeches and voting will be at delegates as well after nominations close.  We are planning on having an August advisor workshop and September delegates.  The information for both of those will be up on the website as soon as we have dates and the info.  Please keep checking the website www.sheriffexplorers.com  for updates.  Also, please start considering if anyone would like to host December Delegates and 2021 State, as we will have to vote on those at September Delegates as well. And if you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me. Please be patient with my response at this time, as I have been temporarily reassigned and I am not near the computer very often. I will get back to you as soon as I can.
