Welcome to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office Explorer Program. The program is for middle and high school students who want to explore a criminal justice career. This is not a club but a team of youth governed by an explorer rank structure led by a full time Deputy Sheriff. We have three posts within Palm Beach County. Locations include Belle Glade, West Palm Beach, and Royal Palm Beach.
Minimum qualifications include but are not limited to:
///Age:
JR. Explorer: (Middle School)
Explorer: High School/College and up to 20 years old
///Citizenship: Must be a citizen of the United States and be of good moral character.
///Education: Must meet the academic requirements set forth by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office each grading period. Explorers must be enrolled in school.
///Attendance: Explorers must have the ability to attend meetings and events on a regular basis.
